  • I wonder how much athletes repping Dubai know about the country they’re promoting.

    Just glance at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Arab_Emirates (Dubai is the biggest city in the UAE). Criticizing the gov’t is illegal. Drinking and premarital sex are punished by whipping. Being an atheist is punishable by death. It goes on.

    People complain about Red Bull having too much sugar, but this is a whole other level of badness.
